Litigation Secretary for Law Firm at Irvine Spectrum

Job Description

Adams & Martin Group is working with a prestigious law firm in Orange County seeking a skilled Litigation Legal Secretary to support a fast-paced employment and labor litigation practice. This role supports multiple attorneys and provides comprehensive administrative and litigation assistance across agency, state, and federal matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize electronic case files in accordance with firm protocols
  • Draft, revise, and proofread correspondence, pleadings, discovery, and arbitration/mediation documents
  • Prepare administrative filings, exhibits, and notebooks for agency and court matters
  • Manage attorney calendars and monitor filing deadlines
  • Complete monthly expense reports and assist with client invoicing in coordination with the billing department
  • Monitor CLE requirements and assist with bar admissions as needed
  • Arrange and manage attorney travel, including flights, hotels, and transportation
  • Run conflict checks and assist with opening new client engagements
  • Maintain working knowledge of assigned attorneys' cases and projects
  • Handle complex, confidential, and time-sensitive materials
  • Perform additional administrative and legal support duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a litigation legal secretary preferred
  • Experience supporting multiple attorneys in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with agency, state, and federal filings
  • Strong organizational, proofreading, and time-management skills
  • High level of professionalism and discretion
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
